Les cache-théières arrivent à Dinan : tea cosies reaching Dinan

Ils arrivent tous les jours par la poste, les facteurs, mis dans la confidcence, sourient en disant, encore des oeuvres pour le concours !!! Certaines clientes les ont déposés dans les autres boutiques  ou passent au salon de thé maintenant ouvert sept jours sur 7 de 10h à 18h jusqu'au 6 mai inclus.

Many tea cosies are arriving on a daily basis either by post (with a smile of postmen faces as they now know the contents of all the large enveloppes they bring me). A few customers did drop a few of them in other boutiques ... but they now can be dropped in Maison Bleu Lin  opened 7 days a week 10am-6pm till 6th of may inc.

Ils viennent de partout :

-de France (départements 22,35,29,40,33,78,50, 92,...

-d'Angleterre (Hampshire)

They come from all over :

-mainly France (we do  not have an international size yet !!! but it will come !!!) : Brittany, Normandy, Paris, Bordeaux, Basque Country

-a few from UK (Hampshire... a scottish friend already thinks of setting up a twinning scheeme between her town and Dinan (to be studied !!!)

Il y en a de toutes tailles : des petits, des très grands, avec des trous pour l'anse ou le bec verseur ou couvrant entièrement la théière.

There are all sizes (large ones of tiny ones with holes for spelter and handle or not

La variété des techniques est impressionnante : tricot, crochet, patchwork, couture, peinture, transfert...Ce sera intéressant à admirer.

A large variety of textile techniques have been used : quilting, sewing, embroidery, painting, fabric transfer, knitting, crochet... It will be a pleasure to admire all these works

D'autres arrivent tous les jours : c'est un peu avec la magie de Noël que j'ouvre les paquets  et découvre le travail exécuté par des mains laborieuses et créatrices..

Many are still arriving everyday and it is a bit like opening Christmas presents  and discover the masterpieces created by so many talented women who did put all their heart into it.

Une information pour les retardataires : quelques jours supplémentaires sont possibles mais il faut ABSOLUMENT QUE NOUS AYONS LES OUVRAGES POUR LE 23 AVRIL CAR L'INSTALLATION DANS LES DIFFERENTES BOUTIQUES SE FAIT MARDI PROCHAIN

An important information for those who have not finish their tea cosy : you can beniefit from an extra delay. BUT WE MUST RECEIVE THE TEA COSIES FOR THE 23RD APRIL AS THE LATEST AS IT IS THE EXHIBITION SETTING UP ON NEXT TUESDAY
